Product Description:
What is Stock Control
Firstly, the control panel allows users to clearly view glass and other product stock levels and identify stock demands by taking into consideration actual sales and current and desired stock levels based on forecasting. Manual interaction is considerably reduced whilst still allowing full control over what items are purchased, from which supplier and at what price. Ensuring best value from suppliers with appropriate stock levels maintained for effective fulfilment of customer orders. Real-time stock issuing and stock taking is also available using display and key barcode readers.
Purchase Orders can be raised and placed into a workflow for an appropriate individual’s review and approval before being processed. The system can hold supplier pricing and supports multiple currencies.
The system provides full visibility and traceability of purchasing activities, allowing supplier performance to be monitored, orders to be chased and arrival dates maintained. Staff can assign glass source IDs & report on order glass source (full traceability logging), keep customers informed of when stock is due and allocate stock to new orders before it arrives.
One stock has been received it can be booked in and recorded against the relevant purchase order providing a level of control throughout the process. Reports on balance per order can be produced and the stock levels will be updated accordingly.
The system can also produce receipt invoices and report on GRNI (goods received not invoiced) which is important when trying to monitor and manage cash flow.
